Marc Kurtz
Marc Kurtz is in his fourth season as the head men's tennis coach, and starts his first season as the head coach for the women's tennis program. In addition to coaching the Vikings, Kurtz is also the tennis director at Sioux Empire Fitness in Sioux Falls where he is a certified tennis professional with the USPTA.
Kurtz played collegiately at Montana State University-Billings. He was a four-year letterwinner playing in the top three single positions and top two doubles teams.
A native of Miles City, Mont., Kurtz also enjoyed a stellar high school career. A team Most Valuable Player during his junior and senior seasons, Kurtz placed second at state in singles while helping his team to the state title. After his senior year, Kurtz was chosen to play on a U.S. junior team to play abroad against a British team during Wimbledon.
Kurtz received his bachelor's degree from Montana State-Billings with a double major in business management and marketing.
