With over 10 years of experience with the United States Tennis Association as a player, coach and volunteer, enters her fourth season as the head coach of the Howard Payne University tennis program.

Brown is a former state and national finalist in mixed doubles. In 1998, she coached the 14 and under Jr. team to the Jr. Olympics. The team was comprised of her players from around the Amarillo/Canyon area in the panhandle.

Now chairperson for the Jr. Recreation Committee for USTA-Texas section and serving on the National committee of the USTA as a Laison to the Texas Section, Brown feels blessed to be at HPU.

In January of 2007, Sally Brown and her family were honored by the USTA-Texas Section as the Whataburger "Family of the Year" for their work with the USTA of Texas.
