Jeff Barger is embarking on his 12th year as the mentor of the Behrend Lions men's and women's tennis teams.
Barger has led the women's team to 7 AMCC titles in 10 seasons, and the men to 3 titles.He has been voted "Coach of the Year" in the league on 10 occassions. Coach Barger is the Behrend all-time leader in coaching victories.
Formerly Barger was the girls' tennis coach at Ripley High School for four seasons, and he was a letterwinner in Tennis for the Fredonia State Blue Devils. He earned a degree in business from Fredonia State. He also serves Penn State Behrend as an instructor in the KINES program.
