Stephen Paine started his college career out at Harding University where he was a three year letterer as a member of the Bison tennis team.  He then transferred to his Alma Mater Southeastern Oklahoma State University where he played #1 singles and #1 doubles.  Stephen then took over the position as Head Men's tennis coach at Southeastern at the start of the 06-07 season.

In the 07-08 season, Coach Paine led the Savage Storm to its first NCAA Regional Final in the University's History.  This year Coach Paine hopes to improve on that accomplishment, but knows it will be hard due to the new Regionalization.

Stephen Paine is married to the former Heather Wilson of Kingston, OK where they reside.
