 Charlotte Scatliffe
Charlotte Scatliffe was named the head coach of the Pacific women's tennis team on August 10, 2012 as she enters her first season at the helm of the Pacific program.

Scatliffe comes to Pacific after nearly a decade among the ranks of the Gauchos of UC Santa Barbara. Most recently, Scatliffe spent the 2011-12 season as the Gauchos Interim Head Coach as she took over the program after two years as a Gaucho assistant. In her one season at the helm of the Gaucho program, Scatliffe guided her women to 5-3 record in the Big West Conference and a semifinal showing at the conference championship tournament. Prior to her stint at the top of the program, Scatliffe spent three years as a Gaucho assistant. Among her duties as an assistant coach was creating a culture of academic success, a position she excelled at as she molded the Gauchos into the top academic team in the Big West over her final three seasons as a coach.

Additionally, Scatliffe worked as a tennis pro at Cathedral Oaks Athletic Club in Goleta. She also worked for the Santa Barbara Tennis Patron, traveling to various elementary and junior high schools in the Santa Barbara and Goleta area, teaching children tennis during their P.E. time.

A four-year letter-winner for the Gauchos from 2004-2008, Scatliffe earned All-Big West honors in doubles three times. In her four years of competition, Scatliffe won nearly 50 doubles matches and 40 singles matches. A native of San Bernardino, Calif., Scatliffe graduated from UCSB with a BA in sociology in 2008.
