Majcher is a 2005 graduate of Sebastian River High School. The 2005 3A individual state champion earned team MVP honors and was a three-time Scripps Treasure Coast Player of the Year. Majcher was also the 2005 state doubles runner-up and 2004 state singles runner-up.
