INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.—The 26th-ranked Arizona State women’s tennis team (16-5) earned a bid to the 2013 NCAA Regionals held by the University of Georgia, the NCAA announced, Tuesday. The Sun Devils will face the Oklahoma Sooners (13-9) in the first round of NCAA competition on Sat. May 11th at 6 a.m. PT/9 a.m. ET.
 
ASU is making a school-record 26th-consecutive postseason appearance under head coach Sheila McInerney. The long-time head coach, who is in her 29th season leading the women’s tennis team, has qualified for 28 NCAA appearances overall under McInerney. ASU was one of five Pac-12 teams to 
 
The first-round match-up against the Sooners will be the second time ASU has faced Oklahoma this season. The Sun Devils defeated OU in the opening round of the ITA Kickoff Weekend, 5-2, on Jan. 25 in Miami, Fla. ASU started out by wining the doubles point and four Sun Devils clinched singles matches including two-time All-American Jaqueline Cako, who blanked Sooner Whitney Ritchie, 6-0, 6-0.
 
The winner of the first-round match will advance to play the winner of the Georgia (21-3) and Winthrop (18-9) on Sun. May 12th at 11 a.m. PT/2 p.m. ET.
