The Albion College women's tennis team remained undefeated as it scored a 9-0 victory over Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association rival Olivet College inside the Ungrodt Tennis Center on Wednesday. The Britons won all six singles matches in straight sets, including a 6-0, 6-0 victory by
Emily Gundersen (Whitehall/Whitehall) in the fifth flight.
Shelley Zamler (Beverly Hills/Groves) and
Mara Rendina (Monroe/St. Mary Catholic Central) won their respective matches by 6-1, 6-0 scores.
Michelle Mulder (East Grand Rapids/East Grand Rapids) won the No. 2 singles match by scores of 6-2 and 6-0, and Vic Seiter (Grosse Pointe Farms/Grosse Pointe South) and Anna Gundersen (Whitehall/Whitehall) dropped just three games in their respective singles victories.
