Coach Dodd is in her fourth season as the Head Coach of Baker Univeristy's tennis program after taking over in August of 2002. Before coming to Baker, Dodd was a graduate assistant coach to both the men's and women's teams at Northwest Missouri State University and helped guide the Bearcats to two conference titles while earning her master's degree in Physical Education.
Dodd excelled at all levels of her playing career before entering the head coaching profession at Baker. A native of Overland Park, KS Dodd lettered and played No. 1 doubles all four years at Shawnee Mission South High School before graduating in 1996. Dodd continued her career at Johnson County Community College, where she qualified for the NJCAA tournament twice, was a team captain, and played both No. 1 doubles and No. 1 singles. While earning a bachelor's degree in mass communication at Northwest Missouri State, Dodd qualified for the NCAA Division II Regional tournament in both her junior and senior years and played No. 1 doubles and was a team captain as a senior.
