- WHAT'S HAPPENING
- Boise State (7-13) will close a nine-match homestand this weekend when the Broncos host three contests, two of them will be Mountain West matches.
- The Broncos welcome the 42nd-ranked New Mexico Lobos on Friday at 5 p.m. (Mountain), followed by a Sunday doubleheader starting with the Lewis-Clark State Warriors at 9 a.m. with the weekend's action wrapping up at 1:30 p.m. with the Air Force Falcons.
- Location: All three matches will be held at the Appleton Tennis Center on campus next to Taco Bell Arena. If bad weather continues the matches will be moved to the Boas (indoor) Tennis Center at 1507 S. Oakland Ave.
- Admission: There is no charge to attend Boise State tennis matches.
- Parking: There will be one location for free parking for each match located in the Liberal Arts Parking Lot to the west of the Appleton Tennis Center.
THE NEW MEXICO MATCH
- The action begins on Friday afternoon at 5 p.m. when the Broncos host No. 42 New Mexico in a big Mountain West Conference match.
- New Mexico is 14-8 overall and 2-0 in league matches ... the Lobos have won six of their last seven contests.
- UNM's Samir Iftikhar is ranked 61st-nationally in singles.
- These two teams have battled it out for the league title the last three years since Boise State joined the conference.
- Boise State has not lost to the Lobos since joining the MW for 2011-12 campaign and are 6-0 against them in that time frame.
THE LEWIS-CLARK STATE MATCH
- Easter Sunday will begin with an early match against the Lewis-Clark State Warriors out of Lewiston, Idaho, at 9 a.m.
- The Warriors are currently ranked 20th-nationally for the NAIA and enter the weekend 3-7 overall, the majority of its schedule has been against NCAA DI and DII schools.
- Lewis-Clark State was added last week to replace the University of Montana who was originally scheduled to play the Broncos at this time. The Grizzlies had to pull out of the match suddenly resulting in the addition of LCSC in this time slot.
THE AIR FORCE MATCH
- This week's action concludes on Sunday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. when the Broncos host Mountain West opponent Air Force.
- The Falcons will play at Utah State prior to arriving in Boise.
- Air Force enters the week at 10-6 overall and 0-2 ... the Falcons are coming off a pair of MW road losses last weekend at Nevada (L 6-1) and Fresno State (L 4-0).
- Boise State is 4-0 versus Air Force since joining the conference for the 2011-12 season.
NEXT UP FOR BOISE STATE
- The Broncos will be on the road next weekend for their final road contests of the season when they travel to play at Nevada and Fresno State.
RECENTLY FOR BOISE STATE
- It was a busy Spring Break for the Broncos who went 1-3 at home last week falling to three nationally ranked opponents No. 65 Cal Poly (L 5-2), No. 43 Stanford (L 6-1) and No. 66 UC Santa Barbara (L 5-2) before defeating Eastern Washington 7-0 on Saturday night (March 28).
- Senior Garrett Patton went 3-1 in singles playing at the No. 1 position, while Thomas Tenreiro went 2-2 on court two in singles.
- In doubles the Broncos' top tandem of Tenreiro and Lewis Roskilly led the team going 3-1 over the week to improve to 13-3 on the year.

- It is a Boise State tradition not to shy away from a tough schedule, 2015 has not been any different with 16 of the 28 matches coming against teams currently ranked nationally by the ITA.
- Opponents in ITA Top-75: No. 21 Texas Tech, No. 22 South Florida, No. 24 Northwestern, No. 36 Harvard, No. 37 San Diego State, No. 38 Stanford, No. 41 Pepperdine (twice), No. 42 New Mexico, No. 46 Auburn, No. 51 Oregon, No. 53 Cal Poly, No. 60 UC Santa Barbara, No. 67 Penn, No. 72 UC Irvine and No. 75 UNLV.
- Boise State is one of six Mountain West members who have been ranked in New Mexico, San Diego State, Nevada, Utah State and UNLV at some point this year.

- Singles: Senior Garrett Patton begins the 2015 dual season ranked ninth in the ITA Mountain Region, while junior Thomas Tenreiro is 10th.
- Doubles: In doubles the team of junior Brian Foley and junior Toby Mitchell enter the spring ranked ninth in the region.
