BOISE, Idaho (4/15/2015) - Greg Patton received the Tennis Educational Merit Award from the International Tennis Hall of Fame this past Sunday (April 12). The award is presented to citizens or residents of the United States who have made notable contributions in the tennis education field at the national level. Recipients of this award have demonstrated leadership and creative skills in such areas as instruction, writing, organization, and promotion of the game of tennis.
"I am incredibly honored by this award, it kind of knocked my socks off when I heard about it," said Patton. "I really owe this to all my friends, colleagues, and players, especially the players who have made this journey so incredible and a joyful one. To be recognized like this by the international hall of fame is like St. Peter saying, hey you got a chance to get inside the pearly gates."
