• The Boise State Broncos (10-15, 3-3 MW) will close the regular season Saturday at home with a doubleheader featuring the Utah State Aggies and Idaho Vandals at the Appleton Tennis Center on campus.
• The day will open at 10:30 a.m. against Mountain West rival and 62nd-ranked Utah State, then close with the "Senior Day" match against Idaho at 5:30 p.m.

• The Broncos will honor their lone senior Garrett Patton prior to the match versus the Idaho Vandals at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
• Patton is a four-year letterwinner and has served as team captain this year.
• He currently has a team-best singles mark of 20-9 and is 11-2 in duals when playing at No. 1 singles this spring ... he has won seven straight entering this weekend and 13 of his last 16 matches that have been completed. 
• In doubles he is 18-13 overall and 13-9 in spring duals while paired with Toby Mitchell and Abe Hewko.
• In four years Garrett Patton has accumulated a career singles record of 87-44 and a doubles mark of 69-40.
• Patton is a three-time Academic All-Mountain West honoree and earned All-MW recognition in doubles as a junior in 2014.
• The graduate of Boise High School is the son of head coach Greg Patton.

• The weekend opens on Saturday morning when the Broncos take on No. 62 Utah State (17-7, 5-1 MW) at 10:30 a.m. at the Appleton Tennis Center.
• The Aggies are coached by Boise State alumnus and former assistant coach Clancy Shields, the younger brother of current Boise State associate head coach Luke Shields.
• USU enters the contest on a three-match win streak with wins over Air Force (W 7-0), New Mexico (W4-3) and most recently at Nevada (W 4-1) last Sunday.
• The Aggies' win over Nevada (April 12) set the school record for wins in a season.
• Jack Swindells has played the most at No. 1 singles for the Aggies going 6-10 and has an overall mark of 12-19 ... Dennis Baumgartner is 15-7 in duals splitting time primarily between court two (10-3) and court one (3-4), his overall record in singles is 20-10.
• In doubles Utah State has had five different pairs play on court one and four combinations compete on court two.

• The weekend will conclude with Boise State's Senior Day match against instate-rival Idaho (13-8, 7-2 Big Sky) at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday in the final match of the doubleheader.
• The Vandals have split their last six contests and are coming off home wins versus Montana (W 4-3) and North Dakota (6-1), followed by a 4-3 loss at Eastern Washington the last time out on April 15.
• Idaho is led by Odon Barta who plays No. 1 singles and has a 12-7 record this spring ... Felipe Fonseca is the primary player on court two where he has gone 11-4 in duals, he is 14-5 overall which includes a 3-1 mark on court three.
• The Vandals top doubles team is Cristobal Ramos and Jackson Varney who are 13-6 on court one.

• Next week the Broncos will be off to defend their three-consecutive Mountain West Conference Tournament Championships in Albuquerque, N.M. 

• The Broncos are currently 10-15 overall and 3-3 in league play entering the weekend.
• Versus ITA Mountain Region opponents the Broncos are 5-1 this year.
• The Broncos are 6-6 at home in 2015.
• So far this season the Broncos are 4-9 on the road.

• Boise State is led by senior Garrett Patton who plays No. 1 singles for the Broncos ... Patton has won 13 of his last 16 singles matches and is now a team-best 20-9 on the year.
• Junior Thomas Tenreiro has been the primary No. 2 singles player during duals going 7-6 on that court this spring ... Tenreiro is 13-18 overall in singles on the year.
• In doubles the tandem of Tenreiro and Lewis Roskilly has led the Broncos going 14-5 overall with a 5-4 mark on court one and 9-1 record on court two.

• Boise State was on the road last weekend splitting a pair of Mountain West road matches defeating Nevada 4-3 on April 10 at Reno, before falling 4-3 on April 12 at Fresno State. 
• Against Nevada, Boise State ran out to a 3-0 lead then held off a Wolf Pack rally attempt to claim the win. Boise State won the doubles point followed by singles victories from Lewis Roskilly, Toby Mitchell and Garrett Patton, respectively.
• Garrett Patton and Danny Moyer both won their singles matches to lead Boise State at Fresno State on April 12. The match came down to the final singles contest of the day before being decided with the Broncos on the short end of the score. 

• The 2015 Men's and Women's Tennis Banquet will be held Friday, May 1, at 6 p.m. in the Stueckle Sky Center.

• It is a Boise State tradition not to shy away from a tough schedule, 2015 has not been any different with 14 of the 28 matches coming against teams currently ranked nationally by the ITA.
• Opponents in ITA Top-75: No. 16 Texas Tech, No. 21 South Florida, No. 24 Stanford, No. 27 Northwestern, No. 34 Harvard, No. 38 San Diego State, No. 40 Pepperdine (twice), No. 41 New Mexico, No. 50 Cal Poly, No. 52 Oregon, No. 62 Utah State, No. 64 Auburn and No. 70 UC Santa Barbara.
• Boise State is one of six Mountain West members who have been ranked at some point this year: New Mexico, San Diego State, Nevada, Utah State and UNLV.
• Other teams the Broncos have played that were ranked at some point this season include: UC Irvine, Penn and Utah.
• In all, Boise State will face 19 teams who have been ranked this season.

• Greg Patton is in his 19th season as head coach at Boise State where he is 418-165 overall in team duals, his career mark is 769-358 in 35 years.
• His 769 career wins makes him the winningest active coach in the NCAA. 

• League Champions: Boise State is the three-time defending Mountain West Tournament champion and is undefeated in the event since joining the league for the 2011-12 season.
• NCAA Tournament Participant: Boise State advanced to the NCAA Tournament in 2014 for the 17th time in school history and the ninth time in the last nine years.
