COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- Boise State senior Garrett Patton has been named Mountain West Men's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played April 15-19. It is the fourth career MW weekly accolade for Patton.

- Was a combined 4-0 in singles and doubles play to lead Boise State to home victories over Utah State (4-0) and Idaho (6-1).
- The senior went 2-0 at No. 1 singles and 2-0 at No. 2 doubles last weekend.
- Recorded a 6-4, 6-3 victory over the Aggies' Karan Salwan at No. 1 singles and followed that up with a 6-1, 7-6 (3) win against Idaho's Odon Barta.
- Paired with Toby Mitchell at No. 2 doubles. The duo secured a 6-1 decision versus Jaime Barajas and Jack Swindells of Utah State. They also turned back Barta and Felipe Fonesca of Idaho 7-5 to clinch the doubles team point for the Broncos.
- Patton's singles victory against the Vandal's Barta clinched the team victory for Boise State, it was only fitting that he clinched his "Senior Night" match.
Other Patton Notes
- Patton finished the regular season with a team-best 22-9 singles record.
- He has won nine straight contests and 15 of his last 18 matches.
- The Boise native also went undefeated at No. 1 singles in MW play.
