Boise State's Patton, Tenreiro and Lewis Earn All-MW Honors
Thursday, 04/23/2015

BOISE, Idaho -- Garrett Patton, Thomas Tenreiro and Lewis Roskilly were named to the 2015 Mountain West Men's Tennis All-Conference Team as announced by the league office Wednesday night. Patton earned honors in singles while Tenreiro and Roskilly were recognized for doubles play. Voting was by the conference's eight head coaches.

It is the second career All-MW honor for Patton following all-conference honors in doubles during 2014. As a senior this season Patton went 22-9 in singles overall and went undefeated 6-0 at No. 1 singles in league play. The native of Boise has won nine straight matches and 15 of his last 18. Patton recorded three wins over nationally ranked opponents: Stefan Menichella (125) from Pepperdine, Naoki Takeda (45) from Arizona and Samir Iftikhar (61) from New Mexico. He is a two-time MW Player of the Week honoree this season, including this week's winner.

Tenreiro and Lewis earned All-Mountain West honors as a doubles team leading the Broncos with a 16-5 mark this year going 7-4 on court one and 9-1 on court two in duals. This is the second-consecutive year that Tenreiro, a junior from Miami, Fla., has earned all-conference recognition in doubles, while it is the first time for Roskilly, a freshman from England.

The Boise State men's tennis team will open defense of its Mountain West Tournament Championship Thursday afternoon in Albuquerque, N.M., against Fresno State.
