Tenreiro and Lewis Roskilly started the ball rolling for the Blue and Orange as the All-MW honorees opened with a 6-3 doubles victory on court one. They improved to 17-5 as a pair with the win in spring duals.

Not long after Tenreiro's and Lewis' win Boise State claimed the team point on court three whereBrian Foley and Hewko put away their opponents by a 6-3 score as well.

The Broncos opened singles by winning four of the six first sets then road momentum to the victory. Hewko gave the Broncos a 2-0 team advantage when he quickly dispatched Fresno State's Youssef Hassan in straight sets 6-1, 6-4. The sophomore from Palm Desert, Calif., is now 17-13 overall in singles.

Tenreiro put Boise State within one of the team victory following his impressive two-set win 6-3, 6-1 on court two over the Bulldogs' Euan McIntosh. Battling heavy winds during the match Tenreiro used his strength to dominate the opponent to give the Broncos a big lead in the match as he improve to 15-19 overall in singles.

The wind kept the final four matches tight helping to extend two into third sets before the victory was decided. Patton provided the clinching point as the senior rallied from one set down. Meanwhile, it looked like both Foley and Roskilly were heading towards splits and a third set. Foley won set one 6-3 and trailed 4-5 in the second. Roskilly was also up a set after winning the opening frame, but he was behind in the second 6-1, 5-6 when play was suspended.
