Thursday, 11/29/2012

BERKELEY - had a chance to speak with Tayler Davis a senior on the Golden Bears women's tennis team. Davis spoke about the recently completed fall season, life as a senior and about the team chemistry on the 2012-13 squad. You had some great results this fall, especially at the Stanford Regional. How do you think you played overall this fall?

Tayler Davis: "I definitely feel like I have to have my best tennis at Stanford, so I'm happy that it's improving. I would have liked to play better on the first couple tournaments, but I'm happy with the improvement." What do you like to do on your free time when you're not playing tennis?

TD: "I like to shop, and hang out with my teammates." You have a new team this year with three new freshmen and a transfer. What do you think of the team chemistry this year compared to last year?

TD: "I think we're all very close, and this year with six of us living together, basically it's been fun and were able to get a lot closer to the girls." How is your experience so far as a senior at Cal?

TD: "It's going by fast, but it's been fun, and I'm really just trying to enjoy every moment of it." What do you plan on doing after you graduate?

TD: "I plan on playing a little bit and probably go to law school."
