 Brennon J. Sewell
Coach Brennon Sewell begins his 12th season heading the men's and women's tennis teams at Georgia Southwestern State University. Coach Sewell has been honored by his peers as conference coach of the year four times including 2001, when he was named the ITA/Wilson's Men's National NAIA coach of the year. He coached the men's team to a runner up finish in the NAIA national tournament in 2001. Sewell's record with the men at GSW is 174-95 and 143-128 coaching the women. His combined record is 317-223, while coaching 20 All-Americans, 6 Academic All-Americans and leading the men to 3 Conference Titles and both teams to a combined 13 national rankings. Coach Sewell is a great player in his own right. He's been ranked in the top 10 in Georgia in the 35's/40's/45 in 1984, 1986, 1988.1992 and 1994. In 1995, Coach Sewell was the Georgia State Men's Singles Champion and Father/Son Doubles Champion. Coach Sewell's family was named the Georgia Tennis Family of the Year in 1990.
