 Brandon Padgett

Brandon Padgett is in his first year as head coach of the Kennesaw State women's and newly-formed men's tennis program.

He comes to Kennesaw State after serving as assistant coach at the University of Dayton. His coaching resume includes stints in high school, junior college and at the NCAA Division III level. Padgett also was a teaching professional at the Five Seasons Sports Club.

An all-conference performer and doubles champion at Miami University Hamilton, he will become the sixth head coach in the history of the women's tennis program.

"I look forward to continuing the growth of the women's tennis program here at Kennesaw State," added Padgett. "In the future we will continue to recruit in Georgia and locally, but we also plan on looking nationally as well as internationally."

Padgett received his undergraduate degree in Health and Sports Studies from Miami (Ohio) and received his Masters in Physical Education from West Virginia University.
