 Deb Holmes

Deb Holmes and women's athletics are synonymous at Lycoming College. She enters her 27th season as the Warriors' women's tennis coach in 2002. She had also previously coached women's basketball at Lycoming.

In addition to her coaching duties, Holmes is also a full-time instructor of physical education and is chairperson of the department. In the past, she has also served as director of the intramural sports program at the College.

Holmes stresses academics, as well as athletics. She is an academic student-advisor and has coached 25 athletes named to the Middle Atlantic Conference All-Academic team over the past nine years.

Holmes earned a bachelor's degree in recreation and a master's degree in physical education from Penn State University, where she was a member of the Lion's varsity softball team.
