James Dunwoody
Coach Dunwoody begins his 3rd year as North Carolina A&T State University’s Head Men’s and Women’s Tennis Coach. He came to N.C. A&T from Bennett College where he served as Head Women’s Tennis Coach. While at Bennett College, he was a member of the United States Tennis Association (USTA) and is certified by the United States Professional Tennis Register. A native of Jefferson City, TN, Dunwoody graduated from Knoxville College, where he received a BS Degree in Business Administration. He was a member of the basketball team from 1966-70 and was also a member of the baseball team from 1968-70. He is married to Loretta Dunwoody and they have a son and daughter, Omari and Jamila.
