Kissell Selected to Compete in NCAA Championships

RALEIGH, N.C. -
NC State sophomore
Joelle Kissell
has been selected to participate in the NCAA Women's Tennis Championships, as announced by the NCAA Division I Women's Tennis Subcommittee on Wednesday. A total of 64 singles players and 32 doubles teams were chosen to participate in the tournament.
The singles and doubles competition will be held at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex in Athens, Ga., May 23-28. Seedings for the tournament have not yet been released.
This marks the second consecutive year that a Pack women's tennis player has qualified for the NCAA Championships. Last season,
Sanaa Bhambri
was selected to compete in the tournament.
Kissell is currently ranked No. 30 nationally in singles with a record of 15-9. She has defeated eight ranked opponents during the spring, including the No. 16 and No. 20 players. She was also an All-ACC selection this season.
