Patrick Kinghorn
After a four-year standout career for the Pacific men’s tennis program, Patrick Kinghorn moves from the court to the sidelines for his first season as an assistant coach.
Kinghorn played a key role in the resurgence of the Pacific program under Head Coach Brian Jackson. A four-year team captain, Kinghorn competed at just about every playing position. Primarily a doubles player his last two seasons, Kinghorn amassed a 9-10 record as a senior while being paired with Alen Suklje and Michael Okada.
While with the Boxers, Kinghorn was recognized as the team’s most inspirational player and was selected as the team’s co-most valuable player in 2011.
A native of Salem, Ore., Kinghorn was a four-year starter at McKay High School. He graduated with his degree in marketing and a minor in Spanish from Pacific in 2011. While a student, Kinghorn was a three-year member of Pacific’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (S-AAC) and served as the group’s vice president his senior year.
