Andreea Oncioiu
Andreea Oncioiu will be joining the Purchase College Athletic's staff as the new Assistant Women's Tennis Coach starting the Fall 2009 season.
Andreea comes to the program with over fifteen years experience in coaching, teaching, and playing the game of tennis. She recieved both her bachelor's and Master's degrees from The Cooper Union in New York, while playing tennis for the institution. While at Cooper Union, Andreea's team achieved 1st place in the Metropolitan Intercollegiate Tennis Championships 3 consecutive years in a row. She was also recognized as the team's Most Valuable Player.
She previously assisted for the women's tennis program at Queensborough Community College in Bayside, NY and maintains her connection to the game of tennis through her active participation in the USTA as both an official and a player.
