 Brian Nelson
The 2012-2013 season marks Coach Nelson's sixth year at the helm of the Seminole State tennis program, after re-starting it 2007.
 
In Nelson's first four years, the Trojan Men have finished 5th at the NJCAA National Championships in 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011. The Men held a program best ranking of #1 in NJCAA during much of the 2010-2011 season. Also in the past four years, the Trojan Men have earned 7 All-American Honors, and 3 Individual National Championships under Nelson's direction.
 
The women's team has also enjoyed great success, finishing in 11th place at the NJCAA National Championships in 2008 & 2009, 9th place in 2010, 18th place in 2011, and 9th place in 2012. The Women achieved a program best of #6 in NJCAA during the 2010-2011 season. Since Nelson has arrived, four Trojan Ladies have been named All-Americans.
 
Coach Nelson spent four years (2003-2007) as the Assistant Coach at East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma. Both the Tigers and Lady Tigers showed great improvement upon Coach Nelson's arrival. The year before he arrived at ECU, the men went 0-17 in dual matches, while the women went 1-16. Over the next four years, the Tiger men earned 2 NCAA National Championship selections, while the women earned 3. Coach Nelson helped ECU to a 117-93 overall dual match record, also coaching a NCAA D2 All-American female Daria Segenchuk.
 
Coach Nelson played collegiately at both Seminole State (1998-2000) under Head Coach Bill Davis, and at East Central University (2000-2002) under Head Coach Charlie Hibbard.
Nelson is a 1998 graduate of Hugo High School in Hugo, Oklahoma.
