FUNDRAISER
Spearheaded an $18 million facility renovation drive that has resulted in The Taube Family Tennis Center, recognized as one of the finest tennis facilities in the nation. The facility hosted the first-ever combined Men's & Women's NCAA Championships in 2006 and again in 2011. The Taube Family Tennis Center has also hosted four women's NCAA Championships, the Fed Cup Finals in 1999, two Siebel Champions tour events (featuring McEnroe, Borg, Wilander and Connors), and the annual Bank of the West Classic women's professional tournament.
The Taube Family Tennis Center also is home to the renowned East Palo Alto Tennis and Tutoring (EPATT) program.
During Gould's tenure, all men's tennis scholarships have been endowed ($6.5 million), the Director of Tennis position and partial coaching positions have been endowed ($4.1 million), the men's tennis operating budget is largely endowed and a Facility maintenance endowment has been established ($1.7 million).
FAMILY
Married to Anne, coach of first women's national championship in any sport at Stanford (tennis, 1978).
Five children, three of whom were captains of respective college swim and volleyball teams.
