Concordia College (New York)
Concordia College traveled to Philadelphia University and swept all nine matches for their fifth win in a row.
The most contested doubles match was at the #1 position where Malkin and Azovtsev continued their winning ways, defeating Woods and Novetsky 8-5. The other two matches were clean sweeps for the Clippers 8-0.
Concordia took care of business in the singles, losing only seven total games. Marcelo Froes was the lone Clipper to win both singles and doubles without losing a single game.
Coach Rockhill noted that "it was very important to have a good showing today as a means of preparing for our next match. The guys were all business and are not taking anybody lightly. Philly has some talented kids, and any win away from home is a good win."
Concordia will next play Queens College 4/2 at home in another NYCAC matchup.
