UT senior Vanja Corovic and sophomore Krista Damico finish off Palm Springs event with one singles win apiece.

 

                PALM SPRINGS, Calif. – Texas senior Vanja Corovic and sophomore Krista Damico tallied a pair of singles victories Sunday as the Longhorns wrapped up the fall season at the Duals in the Desert.

                Corovic posted a 6-1, 6-1 win over USC’s Alison Ramos, while Damico added a 7-5, 6-0 win over Northwestern’s Lauren Lui.

                Texas resumes competition in January when it heads to the Georgia Invitational, its final individual event before beginning dual-match play.
