PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. – Texas sophomores Noel Scott and Lina Padegimaite (LEE-napah-day-gee-MY-tay) won their final consolation doubles match Wednesday as the duo concluded play at the ITA All-American Championships.

Padegimaite and Scott defeated Harvard’s Kristin Norton and Hideko Tachibana by an 8-3 count in the consolation draw of the doubles qualifying bracket.  The Texas tandem entered the consolation bracket following its loss to Georgia on Tuesday.  

Two-time All-America senior Aeriel Ellis begins play in the main singles draw at the ITA All-American Championships Thursday against Penn State’s 52nd-ranked Petra Januskova.  The 20th-ranked Ellis qualified for the main singles draw at the ITA All-American for a fourth consecutive season.

Thursday’s match is set for 2:30 p.m. Central.
