CLEMSON, S.C. - University of Tennessee women's tennis freshmen Mimi Fotopoulos and Tiffany Tavares continued action on day two of the Duckworth Fall Tennis Classic on the campus of Clemson University Saturday.

The duo combined for a doubles victory, battling to take down Virginie Stein and Alexandra Apostu 9-7 for their first doubles win on the weekend.

Tavares dropped her singles match to Josefin Hjiertquist of VCU 7-6, 6-3 while Fotopoulos had to default in her singles match after being up 2-1 in the first set.

Tavares will be back in action on Sunday on the final day of the Classic when she takes on Emily Newton of South Alabama.
