ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Are you looking for the perfect holiday gift for that Michigan sports fan? If so, the University of Michigan Athletic Department has the perfect auction for you!

U-M Athletics will host a "12 Days of Michigan Athletics" holiday auction on MGoBlue.com where fans have the opportunity to purchase one-of-a-kind Michigan items just in time for the holiday season. Fans can bid on a variety of official Michigan gear daily throughout the early part of December.

There will be new and used athletic apparel from some of the school's 31 teams -- football, basketball, baseball, field hockey, golf, ice hockey, lacrosse, soccer, softball and volleyball. Some of the merchandise includes signed balls from head coaches, team-issued jerseys and official collegiate gear.

The online auction will begin Tuesday (Dec. 4) and run through Saturday, Dec. 15. Items will be auctioned daily from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. EST, so fans will want to check the auction site multiple times a day for the featured items. The athletic department will have one or two packages from different sports daily during the "12 Day of Michigan Athletics" holiday auction.
