Highlighting the rankings is Aggie senior Cristina Sanchez-Quintanar's school-record No. 3 listing in the women's singles ranking. The No. 3 ranking betters the previous program high of No. 4 set by Sanchez-Quintanar last season. In addition, senior Cristina Stancu and freshman Stefania Hristov are No. 7 in the preseason women's doubles rankings.

On the men's side, the freshmen duo of Harrison Adams and Shane Vinsant is No. 6 in the doubles rankings.

As a team, the women are ranked No. 14, while the Aggie men's team will open the dual season No. 26.

Stancu and senior Wen Sun also are listed in the women's singles rankings, coming in at No. 45 and 82, respectively. Jordan Szabo and Jeremy Efferding represent the Aggie men in the singles rankings and will enter the dual season at No. 87 and 103, respectively.

Defending national champion Florida is the top-ranked team on the women's side, while Virginia is No. 1 on the men's side. Both No. 1 teams will be visiting College Station this season, with the women hosting the Gators on Sunday, March 3 in a Southeastern Conference match-up and the Aggie men hosting the Cavaliers on Wednesday, March 13 at the George P. Mitchell Tennis Center.

The Aggie men open the 2013 spring dual season January 19 at SMU in Dallas. The Aggie women open the spring season Jan. 26-27 as they play host to North Texas, Minnesota and Arizona in the ITA Kick-Off Weekend at the Mitchell Tennis Center.
