LOS ANGELES - With dual match play beginning next week, the UCLA women's tennis team kicks off 2013 at a pair of individual tournaments this weekend, as members of the team heading to events in both Palm Springs and Las Vegas.
Associate head coach Rance Brown will take four players to Las Vegas for the Freeman Memorial Championships, which is hosted by UNLV and played at the Fertitta Tennis Complex on campus. The players headed to Las Vegas are Chanelle Van Nguyen, Kyle McPhillips, Pamela Montez and Courtney Dolehide. Four other players are headed to Palm Springs this weekend with head coach Stella Sampras Webster for the National Collegiate Tennis Classic at the La Quinta Resort & Club.
