LOS ANGELES- Danielle Lao of women's basketball, Eric Wise of men's basketball and Max de Vroome of men's tennis were named USC Student-Athletes of the Week on Monday, Feb. 4 for the week of Jan. 28 - Feb. 3.

Women's Tennis: Senior Danielle Lao swept through two matches and tallied both doubles and singles wins for the Women of Troy, who remain undefeated in 2013 competition. Lao's streak began on the road in USC's shutout of #33 host Pepperdine as she teamed up with Giuliana Olmos for a clinching 8-3 doubles win before going on to a smooth 6-4, 6-0 win at the No. 3 singles position to keep up USC's winning momentum. Two days later, Lao and Olmos posted an 8-4 doubles win, and the Lao moved up to the No. 2 singles spot to serve up a 6-2, 6-2 win for USC. Lao is now 12-3 overall in singles play this season.

Men's Basketball: Senior Eric Wise delivered his third double-double of the season as he tallied 12 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Trojans down the stretch as they defeated crosstown rival UCLA in the new Pauley Pavilion, 75-71 in overtime. Wise was the only Trojan to collect double-figure boards with 11. He also finished second on the team with five assists, just one shy of the team leader.

Men's Tennis: Freshman Max de Vroome extended his win streaks in singles and doubles with solid victories in USC's five dual matches this past week. De Vroome continued his success with teammate Roberto Quiroz in pounding out five straight doubles wins. In singles, de Vroome also added five more wins to hold seven in a row thanks to his five straight-set wins on the singles courts. De Vroome had the clinching wins in both USC victories in a doubleheader against Cal Poly and UC Irvine early in the week, and would go on to wrap up a winning week with his victories against Texas, San Francisco and LMU as the week progressed. With his seven-match streaks in singles and doubles, de Vroome is 18-7 overall in singles and 12-2 with Quiroz in doubles.
