SEATTLE -- Washington (5-2) returns to the Nordstrom Tennis Center for the final dual match before hosting the ITA National Team Indoors. The Dawgs welcome Eastern Washington (1-3) on Friday, Feb. 8, at 4 p.m.

Washington is playing its fifth-consecutive match at home, winning the last three. The Dawgs took down a pair of ranked opponents last weekend in No. 36 Santa Clara and No. 38 Boise State. The Huskies beat Santa Clara, 4-0, led by some nifty doubles play and straight-set victories from Kyle McMorrow, Emmett Egger and Jeff Hawke. Sunday, the Dawgs topped Boise State, 5-2, as Egger earned his second win of the weekend to lead the way.

Eastern Washington is just 1-3 so far this season with the one winning coming over Whitworth. Most recently the Eagles lost on back-to-back days to Oregon and South Carolina Upstate in Eugene. Eastern is led by Joseph Cohen who is coming off an upset win against Jeff Mullen of Oregon at No. 1 singles, followed by another win against South Carolina Upstate.

Washington is undefeated all-time against EWU, including a 7-0 win last season that moved the Dawgs to 10-0 against the Eagles. Last year, the Huskies won all six singles matches in straight sets and did not lose more than four games in any of the doubles matches.

Friday's match versus Eastern Washington will be the Huskies last tune-up before hosting the ITA National Team Indoors. Washington will host the nation's top-16 teams from February 15-18 at the Nordstrom Tennis Center and the Seattle Tennis Club.
