STARKVILLE, Miss. - For the second time this weekend, the No. 11 Mississippi State men's tennis squad (12-3, 2-1 SEC) will battle a top 10 opponent, as they host the No. 7 Georgia Bulldogs (9-4, 1-1 SEC) Sunday. The match is set to begin at 1 p.m. CT at the A.J. Pitts Tennis Centre on the MSU campus.

The Maroon and White look to rebound from a heartbreaking 4-2 loss to the No. 10 Tennessee Volunteers Friday, where a furious rally from MSU fell just short.

State sports three ranked singles players and a ranked doubles squad for Sunday's match. Freshman Romain Bogaerts holds MSU's highest ranking at 23rd in the nation, with junior Malte Stropp at No. 59 and senior James Chaudry at No. 93. The tandem of freshman Jordan Angus and Stropp are ranked 24th in the nation.

The No. 7 Bulldogs from Athens, Ga., come in after dropping a Friday decision at No. 9 Ole Miss 4-3 in Oxford.

UGA brings four ranked singles players and three ranked doubles squads to Starkville Sunday. KU Singh holds the team's highest ranking at No. 11 in the nation, while Nathan Pasha (No. 42), Hernus Pieters (No. 72) and Ben Wagland (No. 95) follow behind. In doubles, the duo of Pieters and Wagland hold the team's highest at sixth in the nation, with Pasha and Singh (No. 23) and Garrett Brasseaux and Pasha (No. 32) rounding out the list.

Following Sunday's match, State will remain at home for two more big conference matches next weekend. MSU will welcome No. 19 Vanderbilt to A.J. Pitts Friday, March 15, at 2 p.m. CT, and No. 5 Kentucky on Sunday, March 17, at 1 p.m.
