TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The No.22-ranked Florida State women's tennis team will close out its spring break trip with a match against UNLV on Wednesday at 10 a.m. (PT).

"It's important for us to bounce back from the tough loss on Sunday," head coach Jennifer Hyde said. "Resiliency is crucial in spots and a team's ability to bounce back from losses can be defining."

The Seminoles boast an 8-4, (1-2 ACC) record and are looking to snap a three-match losing streak after suffering heartbreaking decisions to Clemson (No.23), Florida (No. 5) and Georgia Tech (No. 32).

The Rebels have won their last six matches, however they have only face one ranked team (No.65 Washington State) during that stretch. UNLV is 9-3 on the year.

Although the Rebels are unranked, UNLV fields a pair of ranked singles players. Leading the way at No.24 is Alexsandra Josifoska, followed by No. 103 Lucia Batta. The Seminoles will counter with (No.50) Daneika Borthwick and Francesca Segarelli (No. 97).

"We haven't seen UNLV in number of years," Hyde said. "We expect to see a very hard competing and scrappy team."

There has been only one other meeting between the two teams in the series history. The Seminoles defeated the Rebels in a 7-0 sweep back in 2008.
