ATHENS, Ga.--The No. 5 Georgia women's tennis team returns home to continue conference play, squaring off with No. 16 Vanderbilt (11-6, 4-2) on Friday at 4:00 p.m. and No. 46 Kentucky (12-5, 3-3) on Sunday at 1:00 p.m.

Georgia went 1-1 last weekend, losing to No. 4 Florida 4-1 on Friday before sweeping No. 32 South Carolina on Sunday.

The matches will be held at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex and admission is free. The first 200 fans receive free t-shirts and students will be able to win pizza and prizes.

MATCH POINTS: Georgia (11-2, 4-1) returns to Athens for a two match-home stand, welcoming Vanderbilt (11-6, 4-2) and Kentucky (12-5, 3-3) for another weekend of SEC play. Georgia will square off with the Commodores on Friday at 4 p.m. and return to face the Wildcats on Sunday at 1 p.m. The Bulldogs improved to No. 5 in the latest ITA rankings, having gone 2-1 last week, beating No. 15 Notre Dame and No. 32 South Carolina. Georgia has won five of its last six matches.

A LOOK AT THE OPPONENTS: Vanderbilt is coming off of a 5-2 loss to Ole Miss. The Commodores have two singles players ranked (No. 46 Lauren Mira, No. 74 Georgina Sellyn) and one doubles pair ranked (No. 29 Colton/Mira). Ashleigh Antal, who plays at Nos. 5 and 6, has won six in a row and nine of her last 10 matches. Georgia is 28-8 all-time versus Vanderbilt including 15-4 at home. Kentucky lost to Ole Miss 4-3 before beating Miss. State on Sunday, 7-0. Nadia Ravita is the Wildcats' only ranked player at No. 38. Georgia is 30-10 all-time versus Kentucky, including 14-3 at home. Vanderbilt and Kentucky have not beaten Georgia since 2006.

LAST TIME OUT: Last weekend, Georgia went on the road and lost to No. 4 Florida before shutting out No. 32 South Carolina on Sunday. Maho Kowase clinched last week's wins against Notre Dame and South Carolina. Georgia played five matches in nine days, four of which were Top-50 opponents, going 4-1 over the stretch.

TOP DOGS: Georgia is No. 5 in the latest ITA team poll, and has four ranked singles players and three ranked doubles pairs. Sophomore Lauren Herring and junior Maho Kowase anchor the top of the Bulldog lineup. Herring, who earned SEC Freshman of the Year honors in 2012, is ranked seventh nationally sporting a 27-5 record this year. The 17th-ranked Kowase has a 27-7 record. Freshman Silvia Garcia (No. 77) and junior Kate Fuller (No. 120) have been playing in the three and four spots. Fuller is 21-5 this year while Garcia is 14-2 and the winner of nine of her last ten singles bouts.

In doubles, Fuller and Garcia, who are 14-0 this season, improved to the No. 3 spot in the latest ITA rankings. Fuller is also ranked with Herring (No. 27). Kowase and Lilly Kimbell are ranked No. 50 with a 9-3 record. Since August, Georgia has played 12 different doubles pairings.

KEEPING IT FRESH: Three freshmen have had stellar starts to their Bulldog careers. After ITA National Team Indoors, Silvia Garcia was named to the All-Tournament Team and garnered SEC women's tennis Freshman of the Week honors. She now sports a 14-2 record in singles and a 14-0 in doubles record. She came in at No. 3 in the ITA Top-60 doubles rankings with junior Kate Fuller and improves 20 spots to No. 77 in the latest singles rankings.

The freshmen duo of Mia King and Makenzie Craft have teamed up in doubles and have been solid at the No. 3 spot, going 2-1, including a dominating 8-0 win two weeks ago against Mississippi State. The duo has also been clutch in singles on courts 5 and 6. King has clinched two matches for Georgia this spring while compiling a 7-4 record. Craft is 7-2 so far this spring.

ON DECK: Georgia will hit the road to visit inagural SEC members Missouri and Texas A&M. Georgia will log over 2,500 miles on this road trip.
