Ojai, Calif. - The UCLA women's tennis team has a chance to win a pair of titles on Sunday at the Pac-12 Championships, as the Bruins will be represented in both the Championship singles and doubles draws.
In the Championship singles final, eighth-seeded freshman Kyle McPhillips will meet third-seeded Krista Hardebeck of Stanford at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday. McPhillips advanced to the final following a 3-6, 6-1, 6-4 semifinal victory over sixth-seeded Kristie Ahn of Stanford. Hardebeck upset second-seeded Anett Schutting of Cal, 6-4, 6-2.
In the Championship doubles final, unseeded Courtney Dolehide and Pamela Montez of UCLA will meet top-seeded Kaitlyn Christian and Sabrina Santamaria of USC at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday. Dolehide and Montez beat third-seeded Lynn Chi and Schutting of Cal, 8-6 on Saturday.
Bruin sophomore Skylar Morton was beaten in her bid to reach a singles final on Saturday, as she suffered a 6-2, 6-0 loss to Christian of USC in the Invitational semifinals.
Both of Sunday's finals will take place at Libbey Park in downtown Ojai.
