CHARLOTTESVILLE - The Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced its final team and individual rankings for the 2013 season, with Virginia ending the year as the top team and Cavaliers ranked No. 1 in singles and No. 2 in doubles. In total, eight Cavaliers were ranked nationally in either singles or doubles to conclude the year.

The Cavaliers, who have been No. 1 in 66 of the last 126 ITA polls, end the year at No. 1 for the first time in school history. Virginia went 30-0 in 2013 and won its first NCAA Championship. UVa also captured the ITA National Team Indoor Championship for the fifth time in the past six years and the ACC Championship for the seventh straight season.

Jarmere Jenkins (College Park, Ga.) became the second Cavalier to end the season ranked No. 1 in the ITA Singles Rankings, joining Somdev Devvarman (2007 and 2008). He was one of six Cavaliers ranked in the final top 125 in singles, along with No. 4 Alex Domijan (Wesley Chapel, Fla.), No. 29 Mitchell Frank (Annandale, Va.), No. 35 Mac Styslinger (Birmingham, Ala.), No. 70 Ryan Shane (Falls Church, Va.) and No. 75 Harrison Richmond (Pawleys Island, S.C.).

NCAA Champions Jenkins and Styslinger ended the year No. 2 in the ITA Doubles rankings. Joining them in the final top 90 were No. 18 Frank/Domijan, No. 30 Domijan/Richmond and the No. 65 duo of Justin Shane (Falls Church, Va.) and Julen Uriguen (Guatemala City, Guatemala).
