WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Purdue men's tennis team is set to host its annual Purdue Fall Invitational this weekend. The Boilermakers welcome 19 other teams to the Schwartz Tennis Center for the three day event. This weekend's field is highlighted by DePaul, Iowa, Louisville and Marquette among others.

The top seed for Purdue is Szymon Tatarczyk, who earned the No. 4 overall seed in Flight A. Mark Kovacs and Diego Acosta also earned seeds in the weekend tournament. Both are in the 5-8 seeds. Tatarczyk is scheduled to face Gleb Sklyr of Marquette in the first round at 2 p.m. Kovacs will face Dave Bacalla of Valparaiso at 11:30 a.m., while Acosta is scheduled to play Poluk Bhattacharya of Butler at 2 p.m.

Aaron Dujovne is the top seed in Flight B. The senior will face Max Hawkins from the University of Chicago at 8 a.m. Mateus Silva also picked up a seed in Flight B. He is the No. 3 player in the division and is scheduled to play at noon against Kyle Dunn of Valparaiso.

Boilermaker fans will have the opportunity to see freshmen Ricardo Medinilla, Lucas Dages and Matt Bouggy for the first time. Medinilla is in Flight C, while Dages is in D and Bouggy is Flight E.

In doubles action, Acosta and Dujovne are the No. 2 overall seed and earned a first round bye. Their first match will be at 4 p.m. Tatarczyk and Kovacs at the No. 4 seed and also earned a bye. Evan Hawkins and Arthur Dobradin are also in Flight A doubles as are Medinilla and Silva.
