 Bryan Whitt

Bryan Whitt was named The University of Texas at Dallas Head Men's and Women's Tennis Coach in November 2004.

Whitt came to UT-Dallas from conference rival UT-Tyler, where he served in the same capacity during the 2003-04 season. He guided the Patriot men's team to a 9-3 record finishing as runner-up in the American Southwest Conference tournament. He led the women's team to an 8-5 record and it's first ever berth in the season-ending ASC tournament before falling to the #8-ranked team in the nation.

Before UT-Tyler, Whitt served as assistant men's tennis coach at the College of William & Mary, an NCAA Division I school located in Williamsburg, Va. During his tenure, he helped the Tribe reach a top 40 national ranking. He was also an assistant coach for both the men and women at Colgate University, a Division I university in Hamilton, NY. Whitt achieved an ATP world ranking in doubles.

Whitt, a native of Hampton, VA, earned her BS degree from UT-Tyler in Political Science and minored in Philosophy. He is currently working on a master's degree in Public Administration at UT Dallas.  Bryan lives in Tyler with his wife Julie. They have a son Tyler.
