Dan Chuckran enters his second season as the assistant men's tennis coach at Army. Chuckran, who graduated from Nazareth College in 1996 with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, worked as a graduate assistant for the University of Rochester men's tennis team during the 1996-97 season. During his career at Nazareth, Chuckran climbed to second on the school's all-time wins list, ranked as high as 45th nationally in Division III singles, won the Prince/ITA Graduate Scholar Award and was honored as an Academic All-American.

A native of Port Jervis, N.Y., Chuckran is a first grade teacher in the Monroe-Woodbury School District. He resided in Cornwall, N.Y.
