Daniel Finn became the head coach of the Bulldog and Lady Bulldog tennis programs in May of 2009.
Prior to coming to Union, Finn was the head men's tennis coach at NCAA Division III Simpson (Iowa) College. In his one season with the Storm, Finn guided the team to a 9-13 record after the team went 0-11 in 2008.
Finn is no stranger to Kentucky as he spent two years as an assistant at Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) College, where he also played four years. As a member of the Blue Raiders, Finn helped his team win four Mid-South Conference championships as the team was ranked regularly in the NAIA Top 25, reaching as high as No. 6. During his junior season, Lindsey Wilson reached the quarterfinals of the 2005 NAIA National Championship Tournament.
As an assistant, he helped coached Candela Castanon to an individual national championship while the Lady Raiders made back-to-back appearances in the NAIA National Championship Tournament semifinal round.
The Center, Ky. native graduated from Lindsey Wilson in 2008 with a degree in Recreation and Physical Education. He is a graduate of Metcalfe County High School.
