 Abby Wilson
Abby Wilson begins her first season as Assistant Director of Tennis and women's head tennis coach after serving as asssistant coach to the men's and women's programs last season. Wilson will be working directly with the women’s tennis program and will be assisting with the men’s program along with completing day-to-day operations. Wilson, a native of Lincoln, Neb., won five individual conference titles and helped the Mavericks to two team conference titles. She helped lead her team to NCAA regional competition all four years of her career and helped UNO advance to the NCAA Sweet Sixteen in 2005. Wilson finished her career first in winning percentage with a .651 mark, tied for first in career doubles with 52, and second in singles wins with 41 in UNO record books. Wilson graduated in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a double minor in Psychology and Sociology. At Lincoln Southeast High School, Wilson was a state champion in doubles competition. Her team won the Class A State Championship in 2000.
