Chris Hill begins his first season of coaching with the University of Dallas Crusaders. Hired in August, Hill replaces former coach Lon Rork who resigned in June of 2002. Born in Lawrence, Kansas, Chris Hill is no stranger to coaching. His father, Bob Hill, is the current head basketball coach at Fordham University. A graduate of Clark High School in San Antonio, Texas, Chris' senior year he was a member of the basketball team that advanced to regional semi finals of the Texas 5A State Tournament. Hill continued his basketball prowess when he attended Suffield Academy in Suffield, Connecticut, for a post graduate year, where his team advanced to the semi finals of the New England Prep League Championship Tournament. Hill then returned to San Antonio, where he attended Trinity University. He was a three year starter and captain of the men's basketball team. The team won the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship his sophomore year, and placed second in the conference his senior year. Hill graduated from Trinity in 2002, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication. Prior to coaching at the University of Dallas, Hill worked for the Trinity University television shows, "Thanks for Coming Out" and "The Harleaux World Show", as well as assisting on the Trinity University radio broadcast of "Tiger Football". He is also a member of Phi Sigma Chi, a local service fraternity. Chris resides in Euless, Texas, and is currently attending Graduate school at the University of Dallas.
