Gonzalez-Garrido is serving as a student assistant coach for the UNI women's tennis team in the 2011-12 season. Gonzalez-Garrido played four seasons for the Panthers.

Gonzalez-Garrido posted 70 career doubles' wins to rank No. 7 all-time in school history in doubles' victories.

Spring 2011- Went 15-8 overall in singles play... was 15-7 when competing in the No. 2 spot...had a 19-5 doubles record with teammate Phoebe Walker... named to the MVC All-Conference team...also named to the MVC Scholar Athlete First Team... received MVC Athlete of the Week honors

Fall 2010: Went 5-3 overall in singles play...posted a 7-2 doubles record with Phoebe Walker

2009-10: Went 15-10 overall in single's play...was 11-7 went competing at the number two spot... teamed up with Phoebe Walker to post an 11-3 doubles record... named to the MVC Scholar-Athlete Team... also received ITA Scholar-Athlete status

2008-09: Had an overall record of 16-16...went 4-5 in tournament play and 12-11 in dual play...went 9-8 when competing at the number one spot.

2007-08: Joined team for spring season...ranked as high as No. 120 in the Spain open rankings before becoming a Panther...sixth most singles wins on team with 11.

Personal: Hobbies include reading and hanging out with friends...chose to attend UNI because of its academic program...majoring inEnglish and French...daughter of Jaime and Esperanza Gonzalez, who she says are the biggest influences in her life.
