Univ. of Oklahoma
Jon Reeves is in his second season as the volunteer assistant for the University of Oklahoma men's tennis team.

"I am thrilled to be at OU and working with Coach Roddick and Coach Hodge," Reeves said. "They have assembled a great group of young men here at OU and I look forward to doing my part to help develop this team."

Reeves is in his 20th year of coaching.

From 2006 to 2012, Reeves was the owner and president of Reeves Tennis & Fitness, Inc., in Newnan, Ga., where he oversaw player development from beginning levels to national-level training. As of Aug. 2012, the business remains open only for camps.

In summer 2011, Reeves was the Director of Tennis at Glenmore Country Club in Charlottesville, Va., and was the volunteer assistant for Auburn University's men's tennis team from 2010 to 2011.

From 2005 to 2006, Reeves worked as an academy coach at the Roddick-Morros International Tennis Academy in San Antonio, Texas. This is where he first met Sooners' head coach John Roddick. At the academy, Reeves was a traveling coach for academy athletes and worked in player development. He worked exclusively with Olga Govortsova at the beginning of her career. Govortsova is now No. 54 in the Women's Tennis Association ranking.

From Dec. 2004 to 2005, Reeves was the assistant women's tennis coach at the University of Virginia. There, he worked specifically in recruiting and player development. He also oversaw the women's tennis program during the hiring process for the new head coach.

Reeves was the assistant women's tennis coach at Virginia Tech from Aug. 2004 to Dec. 2004.

He was the assistant women's tennis coach at The College of William & Mary from 2003 to 2004. While he was there, William & Mary reached its highest Intercollegiate Tennis Association team ranking at No. 8 and won the Colonial Athletic Association conference team championships. The team also produced two All-Americans.

From 2002 to 2003, Reeves was the Director of High Performance Coaching at the Peachtree City Tennis Center in Peachtree City, Ga. There, he developed 15 United States Tennis Association nationally-ranked juniors.
