 Jim Ducey
Jim Ducey was named director and coach of the tennis programs and head women's basketball coach in September of 1998 but joined the staff in 1991. A 1978 graduate of Redlands, Ducey returned to his alma mater from Cal State San Bernardino, where he served as head tennis coach from 1986-88 and head basketball coach from 1984-91. Ducey is a three time recipient of the West Region Coach of the Year Award and one time recipient of the National Coach of the Year award. He graduated from Redlands with a degree in physical education and a minor in art and geology. He later went on to earn his masters in education from Claremont Graduate School. In his free time, Ducey enjoys working with ceramics, fishing, outdoor sports, and building. He is involved in the Redlands Optimist Club, the NABC, and the ITA. Jim and his wife Kelly reside in Redlands with their three sons, Ted, Bryan, and Jacob.
