Benitez enter his fourth year at UTA and first as the Head Coach. On his first year Benitez lead the Mavs to a National Ranking #61, and Senior David Corrie reached National Ranking #21.
In 2006 the Mavericks capture the Conference Season Tittle as well as the Conference Tournament Tittle, advancing to the NCAA Regional Championship in College Station, TX.
A Native of Caracas Venezuela, Benitez will continue with UTA Men's Tennis winning tradition.
