Corrie Climbing in the Professional Ranks

WIRRAL, Great Britain – Former Longhorn Ed Corrie earned his highest world ranking this week at No. 428 after defeating No. 387 Daniel Smethurst to earn the Great Britain F4 Futures tournament on Saturday.  
In his last three singles tournaments in Great Britain, Corrie won the F2 Futures, advanced to the finals of the F3 Futures and on Saturday captured the F4 Futures title.
Corrie, who entered the weekend ranked 456th in singles, has a 16-2 singles record this year on the ATP/WTA and ITF Pro Circuit. The four-time All-Big 12 singles player has a 73-65 record since graduating from UT in 2011.
